Laxmipur former UP member murder case, arrested 1

Former UP (member) Safi Ullah Sabu (55) of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila, No. 7, and former UP (Member) of the 2019, was registered in the case of the robbery.
On Sunday (January 29) night, the deceased's son-in-law Md. Rubel filed this case against 15-20 unknown persons. The police raided a person named Jabed Hossain Mintu of Daserhat area on suspicion of the incident in the night.
Thana police and stakeholders said that on Saturday (Janu 28) night in Andar Manik village of Andar Manik of Teoariganj Union, a group of robbers duped in the village of Andar Manik, the robbers took family members hostage at gunpoint and looted gold ornaments and goods.
The robbers' son, Alauddin, said that after killing his father, he was demanding the arrest of the culprits and justice of the culprits of 6 lakh rupees.
Laxmipur Sadar Police Inspector (Investigation) AKM Fazlul Haque said that the incident has been filed in the police station and one person has been arrested in the raid.
