Locals have staged a protest march in the village demanding the arrest of the murderers of the young journalist Shah Monir Palash of Laxmipur.
On Friday (February 16) after Friday prayers, a protest march was taken out from Masum Shah Mosque in the local Machimnagar area. The Muslims of several mosques in the neighborhood took part in the procession. Later, the procession went around the village and demanded the arrest and punishment of the killers in the procession.
On Wednesday morning (February 14) in the morning, the district correspondent of Daily Rupbani Patrika injured Palash, his two elder brother Pt, who was injured in a dispute regarding the land in Machimnagar of the upazila. He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Thursday (February 15).
The incident of this murder was filed on Thursday (February 15) night on the night of the deceased, Monir Hossain, the father of the deceased, Monir Hossain, and Abu Yusuf, wife of Abu Chaded and Yusuf, who were accused in the case of the three accused.
