Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a microbus and a CNG-powered autorickshaw in Lakshmipur, two others injured.
The accident took place on Tuesday (Feb 25) around 7 pm in the Battali area of Laxmipur-Begumganj Mahasak.
Chandraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jasim Uddin said that six passengers were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a microbus and a CNG-powered auto-rickshaw. After the news, police and locals rescued the injured and three people died on the way to Noakhali Hospital, but another person was killed when he was taken to the hospital.
Supervisor of Nokhali General Hospital Dr. Khalilur Rahman said, ’For the accident, four people have died while two injured are being treated in the hospital.
