In the by-election of Dighli Uniton Parishad of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila, Assistant Presiding Officer Mahmud Ahmed and Polling Agent Mazharul Islam of boat forcibly vote for others have been arrested in the polling station.
They were arrested from the South Khaguita Government Primary Center at around 11 o'clock today, Wednesday (July 27).
Sadar Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Imran Hossain confirmed the poison.
The arrested is the dependent Assistant Presiding Officer of Dakshin Khagujita Government Primary School Center of Mahmud Dighli Unitn. Mazharul is the charitable agent of the boat symbol.
Rajapur Muslim Government Primary School, West Jamirtali Government Primary School, Dighali High School and East Jamirtali Government Primary School were visited, on the way, the workers supported by Awatami League were preventing the voters from the way.
The Aomi League leaders and activists are influencing that the boat will not be allowed to go to the center if the boat is not voted, the voters were not present in these centers from 11 pm to 12 am, there has been an allegation that the agent of Ghosa Prateek was thrown out from the Rajapur Muslim Government Primary School.
Laxmipur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Imran Hossain said, "Anitam Kara Assistant Presiding Officer Mahmud has been arrested. We are careful in the same center that the agent of the boat should be detained by forcefully to vote for others."
