The mobile court has sealed a sand business by creating obstacles to the movement of passengers and vehicles in the road of Maju Chowdhury of the Laxmipur-Bhola sea route, which has been seized by the mobile court.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate of Mobile Court Shahajan Ali raided the Balumhal of Selim near the ferry ghat of Moju Chowdhury on Monday (June 4) around 3 pm.
The arrested are Momin, son of truck driver Hanif and Habib Ullah, son of Abul Hashem, a resident of Feni district, and their Moju Chowdhury's hut has been kept in the custody of the naval police, and the owners and employees of Balumhal have already reached the spot.
It is known that the road leading to the entrance to the ferry ghat of the Lakshmipur-Bhola naval route is the sand business of the local dominant Selim. Every day, hundreds of vehicles traveling on the road are filled with sand and the road is being smashed by the bus passengers who cannot board the ferry.
The road was unfit for the rainfall of the sand truck carrying the sand, which was not suitable for the administration to inform the administration of the poison. Recently, Deputy Commissioners Anjan Chandra Pal and UNO Shahajan Ali warned them at the spot.
UNO Shahajan Ali said, despite the warning, two trucks and two drivers have been arrested from the spot to keep the passengers and vehicles plying at the ferry wharf.
Char Ramani Mohan Unity Council (UP) Chairman Abu Yusuf Chaital was present during the operation.
Incidentally, the people of 21 districts traveled to the Laxmipur-Bhola sea route at the Hat Ferighat of Maju Chowdhury.
