One person has died and at least 20 people have been injured in separate accidents in Lakshmipur.
On Monday (January 21) morning, the accident took place in Tukamitha Saak and Jadaita area of Sadar Upazila.
The deceased is named Kazi Sirajul Islam, the son of Abdul Matin of Char Jangalita village of Kamalnagar upazila, and was initially known to be known.
Eyewitnesses said that a battery-powered auto-rickshaw was hit by a tree in Tuka Mita in Majupur area of Sadar Upazila, and the autorickshaw passenger Kazi Sirajul Islam died on the spot.
On the other hand, when a bus of Anand Paribahan from Begumganj in No'khali reached Jadaita area of the upazila, it went to the ditch of the Nitraran Harit, which was injured in the bus.
Two units of the Futter Service were sent to various clinics including Sadar Hospital.
Resident Medical Officer of Laxmipur Sadar Hospital Dr. Anatar Hossain confirmed the poison and told BanglaNews that the condition of some of the injured is critical.
