The oath of office of the newly elected 6 Unit Council members was held in Laxmipur on Thursday afternoon, Deputy Commissioner Anonor Hossain Akand administered the oath in the hall of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila.
The newly elected Chesners are, Md. Nizam Uddin of Hajirhat Unit of Kamalnagar Upazila, Mosharraf Hossain Bagha of Charfalkan Uniton and Mirza Ashrafur Zaman Russell of Torabganj Uniton.,
Charbatam of Ramgati Upazila is Shabat Hossain Jasim, Char Posigachata Nurul Amin and Charramij Mujahidul Islam Didar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Noor A Alam was present as the chief guest in the swearing ceremony, Laxmipur-2 Constituency Member of Parliament Ed. Noor Uddin Chowdhury Natn.
Also present were Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman AKM Salah Uddin Tipu, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Masum, Ramgati Upazila Executive Officer Abdul Momen, Kamalnagar Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Ramgati Municipal Mejbah Uddin Meju, General Secretary of Ramgati Upazila Awtami League Abdul Oshataahed, Kamalnagar Upazila Awtamilig President Nurul Amin Master and others were also present.
