Laxmipur collapses in newly renovated Bei Dam: Fears of flooding villages

According to Lakshmipur Pani Unnatn Board sources, the dam has been constructed under Holder 59/2 Buir Ghat Tiban project in the financial year 2015-16.
Alamgir Hossain, the representative of the contractor of this project, said that the dam has been completed in the right way. However, the dam was built in the river and canal estuary, the dam is slowly breaking due to the impact of the cyclone.
Laxmipur District Commissioner Md. Zillur Rahman Chowdhury said, "The poison is very sad. After discussing with the water development board and the chairman of that union, he assured the government of the action."
