Lakshmipur ;;A young man named Ilytas (35) was killed in a firing between two parties in Lakshmipur. On Tuesday (October 15), the police recovered the body of the young man from Bakultala area of the district headquarters upazila. The deceased was the son of Nurul Amin of Uttar Magura village of Uttar Jatpur Union of Ilyas Upazila.
The police said that the police station was spotted with gunshot wounds after hearing the gunshots of Bakultala area at night.
Chandraganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Kalam Azad said, ‘It is believed that the young man was shot dead during the firing of two terrorist forces. A gun, 2 rounds and 5 bullets and 5 bullets and 5 bullets and desiat weapons were recovered from the spot. The body has been sent to the Sadar Hospital morgue for investigation.’
