Two people have died in Lakshmipur, two people have died, three others have been injured in the incident, the tears of relatives in Sadar Hospital are being heavy with the entire hospital area.
Today Friday (June 30) around 6 pm, the accident took place in the Saifita Darbar Sharif area of Laxmipur-Bhola-Barisal Jati of Sadar Upazila.
The deceased are Shafatet Hossain (18) and Rajan Hossain (18).
The deceased Safatet Sadar Upazila Laharkandi Unit of Atitali area. Manju's son and Rajan is the son of Akhtar Hossain of Paschim Laxmipur municipality of Laxmipur municipality.
The injured are Tushar (30), Riztaz (19) and Shouteb Islam (18).
The injured Shoteb is the son of Sohail Rana of Banchanagar area of Laxmipur municipality, Rafiq Mita, son of Rasulganj area of Riz Charruhita Unit.
According to the witnesses, two motorcyclists were sitting on the motorcycle taking selfies and two of the speeding motorcycles were collided with two people who died on the spot. Locals rescued the three injured and admitted them to Sadar Hospital.
Laxmipur Sadar Hospital on duty, Kamal Sheesh Rasht said, "The two have been found dead, one named Tushar has been sent to Dhaka for better treatment. The injured are being treated and the bodies are being treated and the bodies of the victims are being kept in the morgue."
