The students of Laxmipur Government Technical School and College held a human chain program to demand the continuation of Diploma in Engineering course in Laxmipur. They held an hour-long human chain program in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Thursday. Later, the students gave a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Humatara Begum and the students spoke in the human chain, Nazmul Hasan, Md. Anonor Hossain and Shahnaz Akhtar Seema and others.
The students said that in 2016, the government launched a diploma in engineering course in 64 technical schools and colleges in the country. In these educational institutions, there are currently more than 6,000 students in that course.
