Police arrested two people named Anayar Hossain Niku and Arif Hossain along with desi weapons while preparing for a robbery in Chandraganj of Lakshmipur.
On Tuesday around 3 pm, on the basis of secret information, these two robbers were arrested from the betel nut garden in front of Sakine Hatar Bai in West Latifpur village of Sadar Upazila's Chandraganj police station.
Anadar Hossain is the son of Tariq Ulya of Panchpasa village of Chandraganj police station of Niku Sadar upazila and Arif Hossain is the son of Khorshed Alam of Sheikhpur village of Chandraganj police station of Sadar upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chandraganj Police Station. Abul Kalam Azad said that they have been arrested based on secret information about the preparation of the robbery, he said that Chandraganj Thana has filed a few more cases against Ananotar Hossain Niku and Arif Hossain.
