A meeting of the journalists working in the district was held with the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anjan Chandra Pal of Laxmipur.
On Monday (January 15) around noon, the meeting was organized in the District Commissioner's conference room.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohammad Iqbal Hasan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mofizul Islam, Mohammad Manjurul Islam, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Nuruzzaman and District Information Officer Abdullah Al Mamun were present in it.
DC Anjan Chandra Pal spoke to reporters about the various problems and possibilities of this district. He assured to take initiative and action regarding the poisons mentioned by the District Commissioner.
On January 10, Anjan Chandra Pal took the title as the new Deputy Commissioner in Laxmipur.
