On Friday (October 8) at noon, SI Kamal of Raatpur police station spoke to the superintendent of the madrasa, the haircut student, their guardians and the accused teacher and got the truth of the incident.
Last Wednesday (September 18), Manjurul Kabir, senior teacher of Alim Madrasa in Bamni UP of the upazila, Manjurul Kabir, a video of the incident, went viral on social media on Friday.
The students of the Dakhil class of that madrasa, Nazmul Alam and Fazle Rabbi, along with their English classes were going on on the mobile phone, on September 18, their English classes were going on. This was the case when the senior teacher Manjurul Kabir Sir cut the hair of our 6 students. After this incident, the students went from the class room and went from the classroom to the middle students of the other teachers of the madrasa.
On the condition of anonymity, a student said, after the first hour of the English class, Manjurul Sir suddenly entered our (a) branch class and cut the hair of 6 students. But (b) he did not cut the hair of any student of the branch.
Manjurul Kabir, a teacher of the madrasa, admitted the truth of the incident and said that all the students had cut their hair and come to the madrasa on the day before the exam. Due to the disobedience of the words of the four teachers of the student committee, I have cut the hair of the few people. I have cut them off and three other teachers are being falsely propagated against the madrasa to teach them to stay clean and ethical.
The investigating officer of the incident, Sub-Inspector Kamal Hossain, said that on the instructions of the OC Sir, on Friday (October 8) at noon, I spoke to the superintendent of the madrasa, the superintendent of the superintendent student, their parents and the accused teacher. Last Wednesday (September 18), the senior teacher of the madrasa, Manjurul Kabir, said that the incident was noted by the instructor from the organization on Saturday.
Madrasa Superintendent Maulana Balakat Ullah said that no student or their guardian had complained about the incident. Today, SI Kamal Hossain of the police station investigated the incident but no student and their parents have made any complaint. I will take action if I go to the madrasa on Saturday.
Tafazzal Hossain Munshi, the chairman of Bamni Unitan Parishad of Rakhpur, said, "The teacher of the madrasa, Manjurul Kabir, is the Amir of Jamaat Islam, which has influenced the students and other teachers are also unsure of the students.
Ratpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabreen Chowdhury said, "We have come to know about the incident through a journalist. If the truth is found after investigation, action will be taken against the teacher."
