At least 8 leaders and activists were injured in the fight between two groups of Chhatra League in Rakhtar, Laxmipur, Nishan Uddin, joint general secretary of the upazila Chhatra League, Chhatra League leader Mehedi Hashan.
The incident took place at the Iftar ceremony organized by the Upazila Chhatra League at the evening of Saturday (June 2) at the Ratpur Auditorium and then rescued the injured and treated them at the Upazila Health Complex.
The injured are Mehdi Hasan Nishan (20), Fahim (18), Osman Gani (28), Hasan (19). Mehdi Hasan (18), Masud Alam (17), Shakeel Hossain (22) and Yunus Mizhi (17)
It is known that the upazila committee welcomed the leaders of the district Chhatra League of Rachtpur Auditorium and organized iftar mahfil.
