Lahmipur:
Leaders and activists of the party held a protest march in Lakshmipur to protest the killing of Central Chhatra Dal leader Nurul Alam Nuru.
On Sunday (02 April) around 12 noon, the district Chhatra Dal held a protest march.
The procession came out from the premises of Lakshmipur municipality and went around the main scene and ended at Genjihata Giant in the city.
Central co-organizing secretary and District Chhatra Dal president Harunur Rashid was present in the procession under the leadership of District Chhatra Dal Senior Vice President Faz Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud Ibrahim, General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Mamun, Office Secretary Abdur Rahim Rajon, Sadar Upazila Chhatra Dal President Mostafizur Rahman Sohel, Municipal Chhatra Dal President Mosaddek Hossain Babar and Laxmipur Government College Joint General Secretary Aminul Raju and others.
On March 29, Central Chhatra Dal Deputy General Secretary Nurul Alam Nuru was taken from his house in Katalganj area of the city in the police station and recovered his body from the bank of Karnaphuli five kilometers after the incident.
