A pedestrian named Md. Shahadat Hossain Liton Bhui (38) was killed in Laxmipur. The accident took place in front of Islam Market on the police line of Dhaka-Raatpur Mahasak on Saturday morning at 11 am on Saturday morning.
The deceased Liton is the son of Nazrul Islam Bhui of Atali Bhui, Laharkandi Unit of Sadar Upazila.
The police and locals know that a bus named Dhaka Express from Rathpur hit the Islam Market area and hit the pedestrian Liton. At one point the locals came to Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital and the doctor confirmed that the doctor on duty was killed on the spot.
Laxmipur Model Police Station Deputy Inspector Md Farooq Hossain confirmed that the police had visited the spot but it was not possible to arrest the killer bus.
Laxmipur Sadar Hospital Medical Officer Dr. Anatar Hossain said that pedestrian Liton was killed on the spot.
