Kulsum Akhter Munni (21) was tortured by a three-month pregnant housewife in Lakshmipur and poured poison in her mouth The local people staged human chains and protest marches to prosecute the accused by accusing them of systematically murder.
On Saturday (November 4) morning, a human chain was formed in Charbhuta village of Sadar Upazila Bhavaniganj Uniton, after the murder of housewife Munni was held by her husband Osman Gani and father-in-law and father-in-law.
UP member (Member) Nurul Islam Pattori, the deceased's father Jobi Ullah, mother Shaheda Begum and Nana Shah Alam etc. spoke in the human chain.
The family of the deceased Munni claimed that Kulsum Akhtar Munni was beaten up by her husband Osman on October 29. At one point, she poured poison into her face and afterwards, the doctor on duty declared Munni dead in the hospital.
