A fire broke out in the warehouse of Hasan Electric and Supplies in Lakshmipur and goods worth Tk 10 lakh were found.
The fire incident took place behind Titakhan Jame Masjid in the city on Monday (March 13) around 12 noon. After the news, 3 units of the Fatter Service reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
The affected businessman Md. Hasan said, "All the goods in my godown have been destroyed in the fire and there has been a loss of Rs 10 lakh."
Farid Ahmed Chowdhury, Deputy Director of Laxmipur Fatur Service, said that it is initially believed that the fire started from the same fulki working in the next room.
Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sheikh Murshidul Islam came to visit the scene after receiving the news of the fire.
