Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit the affected areas in the cyclone Remaal.
Awami League President Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi on Monday (May 27) gave this information to the party's general secretary and road transport minister Obaidul Quader.
In this case, he ordered the Dalit leaders and activists including the public representative to stand by the people affected by the cyclone.
Criticizing BNP in the press conference, Obatadul Quader said, ‘Even if BNP is a political party, they are not in the field for any humanitarian program. They are busy with photo sessions in the name of assistance at various times. Awami League expressed condolences to their relatives by mourning the six people who lost their lives in the cyclone.’
Stating that the concerned organizational units of the party will go to the side of the people affected by the cyclone, he said, ‘If the situation is a little normal, the party president Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself has expressed her interest to visit the affected areas.’
