Reserves have reduced in a week and more than 100 million US dollars, with the various funds currently in the reserve, the amount of reserves is 20.16 billion dollars or 2 thousand 516 million US dollars.

A week ago (November 16), the reserves were 25.26 billion dollars or 2,526 million US dollars, and the reserves fell 100 million US dollars in a week, but the net reserves were different.

Bangladesh Bank released this information on Thursday (November 23).

According to the data of Bangladesh Bank, the latest net reserves are 19.52.52 dollars (BPS-6) or 1 thousand 952 crore 39 million US dollars. A week ago, the net reserve was 19.60 billion dollars or 1 thousand 960 million 37 million dollars. In a week, the net reserves decreased by 7 crore 78 lakh US dollars. As such, the difference between gross and net reserves has decreased more than the rate at which net reserves have decreased.

Bangladesh will usually calculate the reserves with funds formed from the reserves but the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has a $4.7 billion loan from the IMF, which is used in the global and widely used IMF balance of payments and investment position manual (BPM-6). According to the start of the current financial year, the reserve calculation will be excluded from the reserve calculation, the loan guarantee to Biman, the loan to the port authority, the deposit in the Islamic Development Bank and the security under the specified grade. The remaining usable reserves are called nets and the remaining usable reserves are also called nets.
