Special Representative:
A child named Abdur Rahim (2) drowned in Charalakshmi village of Dakshin Charbanshi Uniton in Ratapur Upazila of Laxmipur.
He is the son of Molla Bair Shafiq Molla and Mim Akhtar of that village. The incident took place at around 10:00 am on Sunday (07 August).
According to the child's family and police sources, Abdur Rahim (2) drowned in the pond next to Bai and died on the way to the hospital.
His body was buried in the family cemetery at noon, and his body was brought to the hospital, said the emergency department doctor of the Rashpur Upazila Health Complex, said the child was brought to the hospital and we did not get any treatment for him.
Mofizur Rahman, in-charge of Hajimara police department, said, "We are aware of the poison of child death. There is no complaint that the corpse has been allowed to be buried."
