The upazila administration has started preparations in advance around Shardit Durga Puja. The upazila administration has started preparations in advance. The Rashpur upazila administration has held a preparatory meeting with the concerned officials, public representatives and the representatives of the pujamandap to ensure the safety, law and order situation in the pujamandap and the celebration of the festival smoothly.
The meeting was held at the upazila conference room on Thursday (October 8) in the upazila administration. It was presided over by Laxmipur Ratpur Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mehdi Hasan Kaushar.

The meeting took special importance in the security of the pujamandaps, the law and order situation and coordination between the various departments. Emphasis was placed on the duty of all concerned to avoid any unpleasant situation during the puja.
