Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid and the Prime Minister met with the President at Bangabhaban this evening.
When the Prime Minister arrived at Bangabhaban at 6 o'clock in the evening, President Abdul Hamid and his wife Rashida Khanam greeted him with Phul Di. The Prime Minister also greeted the President with flowers.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister recently informed the President of the United States' visit to the United States, including attending the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
He informed the President about the activities undertaken to ensure the safety of the people by controlling the overall activities of the government, especially the infection and vaccination, said the President's Deputy Press Secretary Munshi Jalal Uddin.
He said that the President in recognition of the ‘SDG Progress Award’ in recognition of the qualified leadership in achieving the sustainable Unadvan Achievement (SDG) announced by the United Nations by 2030.
