Ramganj Press Club Vice President and Jankanth and Upazila Rep. of Daily Sun newspaper Rahmat Ulyah Pattori, Shamsul Alam (48, son of Abdul Malek, son of deceased Abdul Malek of Bhadur Unit, has been accused of public destruction in this regard.
According to the complaint, Shamchul Alam cheated his father and deeded all the property in 2017. After that he neglected his elderly father, his wife did not allow them to stay in their house. Cooperation goes on
In this regard, the old father complained against his son to Ramganj police station and union council in February 2020. The then police officer in charge Anoyar Hossain went to the spot.
Journalist Rahmat Ulyah Pattori said, "I published the news about the old father in 2020. Based on this news, Shamchul Alam threatened me after coming from abroad 3 to 4 months ago. Coming yesterday, Saturday (June 11) at 9 am, I have been threatening to beat and kill me. For this I have filed a complaint with the police station.
I tried to contact Shamchul Alam and I did not go
Ramganj police station officer-in-charge Emdadul Haque said that legal action will be taken after investigation in this regard.
