The International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated in Ramganj on Monday (December 9) in the Ramganj Upazila Administration and Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee of Laxmipur.
Ramganj Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Senior Vice President and retired Joint Secretary Birmuktijoddha Kazi Ali Hossain presided over the day at 11 am in the Upazila Parishad premises, including the hoisting of the flag and the day of the pestoon.
Later, after the human chain and rally, a discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad meeting.
Ramganj Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee General Secretary MA Rahim delivered the welcome speech at the beginning of the discussion meeting.
Ramganj Upazila Executive Officer Mohammad Mamun, Retired Joint Secretary Enamul Haque, Principal of Ramganj Government College Professor Md. Didarul Islam, Ramganj Thana Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Abul Bashar, Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee Member Antor Hossain Shipon, Ramganj Press Club President Md. Abu Taher, Journalist Omar Farooq Pathotari and others spoke as the chief guests.
