Rajshahi Reporter: Police conducted a special operation in the residential hotel of an Aomi League leader in Rajshahi metropolis and arrested 22 students for being involved in anti-social activities. The police conducted the operation from 11 pm to 2 am in the city's Ganakpasat Hotel Grande.
All the arrested are students of various colleges and universities, they were engaged in anti-social activities in the hotel rooms.
The hotel is a hotel owned by Abul Bashar Sujan, the general secretary of Tano Municipal Awami League and Member of Parliament of Rajshahi-1 Constituency Omar Farooq Chowdhury.
Police conducted a search of various rooms of the hotel in the presence of Boalia police station OC Humayun Kabir led by Assistant Commissioner of Metropolitan Intelligence Department Arjina Khatun, who were arrested for 22 youths and 22 youths were arrested for alleged anti-social activities, all of the arrested students.
Botalitha police station officer-in-charge (OC) Humathun Kabir said that the interrogation of the detained students is going on. Their families have been called. The owner has also been called. The family members will actually take action against them.
