5 thieves were arrested by RMP's Motihar Thana Police from the hall room of the University of Engineering Technology in Rajshahi, which has been arrested by 9 stolen laptops and 8 mobile phones from the arrested persons.
The arrested accused are Ariful Islam Arif (25), Josh Hossain (22), Sakir Hossain Sweet (25), Shafiur Rahman Shafi (20) and Taushik Rahman Sitam (17).

According to the incident, 3 laptops and 4 mobile phones were stolen from the tinsed hall room of 5 am Rajshahi University of Engineering Technology on June 8, 2022. In view of the written complaint of Md Lutfullah Hill Kabir Chowdhury, Motihar Thana has a case of a theft.
After filing the case, a police team of Motihar police station recovered the stolen laptop and mobile phone on the orders of RMP Police Commissioner Abu Kalam Siddique and started an operation to identify the location of the accused.
Later, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Motihar) Monirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge Anonor Ali Tuhin, SI Md Aminur Rahman and his team under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Ekramul Haque PPM, conducted an operation with information technology and conducted an operation with information technology and arrested the accused Ariful Islam Arif.
According to the arrested accused Arif's Deota, the accused Jata Hossain has been arrested. Sakir Hossain Sweet and Md Shafiur Rahman Shafi were arrested during the operation. 2 laptops and 5 other stolen laptops were recovered from the shop.
Accused Sakir Hossain was widely interrogated, his shop employee Md. Shafiur Rahman sold 2 stolen laptops to Arman and the laptop 2 SA Paribahan booked to send Dhaka through Rajshahi. Based on his information, 1 laptop and 1 other stolen laptop were recovered from SA Paribahan Rajshahi branch.
According to the information of the arrested accused, the other accused Taushik Rahman Seitam was arrested and interrogated based on his information and 2 andrt phones were recovered.
It is known in the interrogation of all the arrested accused, they are members of the prostitution laptop and mobile phone theft gang of Rajshahi city. They are the members of the rogue and mobile phone theft gang in Rajshahi city.
