RajshahiA petrol bomb attack has taken place in a passenger bus in Rajshahi. The passenger bus was completely destroyed by the bomb attack of miscreants at Udpur in Mahasak.
On the news of the incident, the police and fire brigade personnel quickly brought the fire to the spot and the fireman Tauhidul Islam Babu (38) was injured. However, five passengers were injured when the window glass was broken and the window was quickly dismounted.
The upazila health center has been given first aid treatment and the names and addresses of the injured passengers are not known immediately.
Eyewitnesses and gall driver Babu said that the bus named Simu Nurtaz was taken by 40 passengers on Sunday evening from Rajshahi to Chapainawabganj After the Maghrib Azan, the village reached the place called Udpur in Mahasak, and first threw a petrol bomb at the two masked rogue drivers of the motorcycle following the driver, then threw another petrol bomb in front of the gait and went to the right holding a narrow surge. Two petrol bombs caught fire in the whole village.
These passengers were able to break the window glass and get down to the back, but five passengers were slightly injured. On receiving the news, the firemen quickly extinguished the fire at the spot. Meanwhile, after the bomb attack on the passenger bus, all types of traffic stopped in the past for some time.
The officer-in-charge (OC) of Godagali police station Abdul Matin said that the petrol bomb has been launched to identify and arrest the petrol bombers, but the police station will be sued, but all the 40 passengers in the driver's adventure bus are unharmed.
