Awami League's public meeting has been held in Rajshahi. On Sunday (Janu 29), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the party's divisional public meeting as the chief guest and workers and supporters are coming from all the districts of the division to listen to the Prime Minister's speech. They came to Rajshahi public meeting by train or bus.
There are seven special trains running for the Aomi League public meeting in Rajshahi, which will run today on the Rajshahi-Natore, Rajshahi-Jantpurhat, Rajshahi-Santahar, Rajshahi-Dhalarchar and Rajshahi-Sirajganj routes.
On Sunday morning, the Rajshahi railway station and bus terminals were visited, a large number of people from different districts and upazilas of Rajshahi division were coming to the Prime Minister's meeting, which has resulted in the area of the people, and the leaders and activists are moving directly from the bus terminal to the madrasa grounds.
Akbar Khan, who came by train from Chapainawabganj Rahanpur, said, "We have come to Rajshahi, the Prime Minister has come to see him. So uncle-nephew has boarded the morning train. I am looking down in Rajshahi and looking at the big event. Just the Prime Minister's poster, it was very nice to come to Rajshahi.
Raich Khan came from Sirajganj by train, said he got on the bus first in the morning. The train came off the bus, and the discussion about the Prime Minister and his development in the election year is very important. Earlier, the Prime Minister of Jessore, Chittagong has asked for votes. People are coming from far and wide to see the Prime Minister.
Shimul Hossain, who came from Joypurhat in the Prime Minister's public meeting, said that he came to Rajshahi by bus, to watch the Prime Minister's public meeting. I saw in the TV channel, the paper, that the Prime Minister was coming, so Rajshahi was decorated very well. I saw it and it was really nice. I will visit the city of Rajshahi until the Prime Minister comes to the meeting place, and I will visit the city after the Prime Minister's words and return home.
Motiul Haque Titu, general secretary of Rajshahi Road Transport Group, said that traffic on all routes of Rajshahi is normal, and a large number of people have come to Rajshahi due to the Prime Minister's public meeting, most of them have come to their homes.
Abdul Karim, the station manager of Rajshahi Railway, said that the trains are coming from different places, and trains are departing from Rajshahi on different routes. There has been no incident of schedule upsets and only seven special trains will run today.
