Rajshahi Reporter: RAB has arrested a rapist from Chandrima area of Rajshahi metropolis along with three accomplices and a press briefing on Friday at around 11 am, RAB-5 commander Lt. Col. Munim Ferdous said.
The arrested are Alamgir Ratel (40), son of Narul Islam of Narul Islam of Hentemkhan Sabzipaspa area of Botalita police station in the city, his wife Helena Khatun (30), Helena's brother-in-law Dilara Begum (35) and their associates Chandrima police station, Mumtaz Begum (42).
In the press briefing at the headquarters of RAB-5, Colonel Munim Ferdous said that on February 7, the Hogram Court Station area of the city's Kashitadanga police station was stolen from the city's Kashitadanga police station for shopping.
RAB Adhinak also said that Alamgir's wife Helena Khatun, their associates Dilara Begum and Mumtaz Begum, who were already present in the 2018, secretly recorded the video of the rape, and the video of the victim was asked to be seen from the victim and demanded five lakh rupees from the victim.
A RAB team rescued the victim woman based on information technology and securing information from her family members and four people including Alamgir and his wife Helena were arrested from the same.
