Rajshahi Correspondent: A land surveyor named Abdullah Al Kafi (58) of a stone-laden truck was killed in Rajshahi's Durgapur. Another person was injured in the incident on Monday afternoon in the Yugisho Palsha Keatala market of the Delubai Unit of the upazila.
The deceased surveyor Abdullah Al Kafir has been taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in Mohanganj village of Bagmara upazila of Rajshahi.
‘The police have been sent from the police station at the scene of the accident. Legal action will be taken in this poison,’ said Durgapur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Nazmul Haque.’
Eyewitnesses said that around 5 pm today, the surveyor Abdullah Al Kafi and a person were going to Kanpaza Bazar from Mohanganj Bazar around 5 pm. On the way, a Kafir motorcycle was hit by a CNG at a place called Yugisho Ketatala.
Meanwhile, the truck driver went to Palli, but the local people seized the truck, later informed the police and the service, local people said.
