The police have arrested the fugitive accused of six months in the disguise of a shepherd in Tajumuddin's Tajumuddin. On Sunday morning, he was arrested by a raid in the isolated Char Nasreen of Sonapur Unit of the upazila.
The arrested accused Abdur Rahim (50) is the son of Jebel Bepari of the area and was sent to court in the afternoon.
In this regard, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Tajumuddin police station. Maksudur Rahman Murad said that the accused Abdur Rahim was a case against the arrested accused Abdur Rahim in 2014. The case was sentenced by the court judge in December 2021. Since then, the accused Abdur Rahim started living in the past.
The OC also said that on Sunday morning, based on secret information, I came to know that the accused Abdur Rahim Char was staying in Nasreen. Based on that news, a police team conducted a raid and arrested him in the afternoon, and after Sunday afternoon, the arrested accused Abdur Rahim was sent to the court.
