The government has decided to make 10 Ansar Motaten to ensure the safety of UNOs in 8 districts of Rangpur Division. A letter has been issued by Ansar to take action accordingly.
This order was given to each district commandant in a letter signed by AKM Ziaul Alam, Rangpur Range Director of Ansar and Village Defense Force on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, 10 Ansar members have been deployed on Friday morning, and this decision will be implemented in all the upazilas of the department.
Rangpur District Commissioner Asif Ahsan confirmed this information.
It should be noted that this action was taken after the attack of miscreants on UNO O O Ahida Khanam of Ghosaghat Upazila of Dinajpur.
In the letter sent to the district commandants, one PC, one APC and 8 Ansar members including 10 armed Ansar members have been requested to ensure the safety of each upazila executive officers.
It is said that a total of 10 armed Ansar members including one PC, one APC and eight Ansar have been requested to ensure the safety of the upazila executive officers of 58 upazilas of Rangpur division (Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Kuigram, Nilphamari, Gaibandha, Panchagji, Dinajpur and Thakurgaon).
