Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also called the bloodless flags of 3 million martyrs in the prison of war criminals as war criminals, who said they are equally criminals. They will be tried for war crimes, they are traitors, no matter how many scheming machines, no one can stop their trial.
He said this in the speech of the president of Bangladesh Aomi League, a discussion meeting organized by Bangladesh Awami League on December 14 Martyr Intellectual Day at Farmgate's Farmgate.
Sheikh Hasina said, after the assassination of Bangabandhu in 1975, there was a dark cloud in the life of the nation. Now that cloud has passed. And everyone should stand united under the flag of Awami League so that no one can play the fate of the people of this country.
He said, on this December 14th, intellectuals of different classes and professions of the society were caught and killed in a very planned manner.
The Prime Minister said that the Pakistani army coming from 1200 miles away did not know the roads and houses of this country but in this country Pakistanis Razakar, Al-Badar, Al-Shams have been able to carry out mass killings because they have supported the Pakistani forces, and they killed the intellectuals to demoralize the nation. Those who supported the Pak forces never believed in independence. They were proud to say that this country will never be independent. But they have been forced to surrender to the brave Bengalis of this country.
’It is our misfortune that people can know the history of a country if it is independent, but after the assassination of Bangabandhu in 1975, those who came to power have distorted the true history of the liberation war."
He added that if a nation does not know its true history, it cannot stand tall, they have distorted history, violated the constitution. Gitaur Rahman had freed those whom Bangabandhu had started in the trial of war crimes and he would not have freed the war criminals from jail if he had been the true freedom herald.
"Many times, Allah has saved me from death. The leaders of the grenade attack have saved me in the wall of the human wall. Some of them have died. All are traitors. There are many good people in this country. That is why we are going ahead despite hundreds of obstacles. The leaders and workers of the party are going forward with courage because the leaders and workers are with me.
He said, if anyone comes to power and enjoy it, then he will not be able to serve the people. Whenever the Awami League came to power, the people of this country got something.75 After that, the thoughts of those who were in power were not good. How to rob and eat, they were thinking about how to get help from abroad.
He said to them, why should you go to the wrong path. If you die, wealth will not go with you, so why looting, why fight, why fight.
"The power of the visible development is being made because of the power that is in power today. The sacrifice of those who know how to leave will never be in vain. We are going here, we will go ahead, no one can stop us."
