After the meeting on Monday (November 22), Cabinet Secretary Khandkar Anotarul Islam announced this approval in a press briefing at the Secretariat.
The Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was given this approval through video conference and from the Ganabhaban, the ministers and state ministers from the Cabinet Division from the Cabinet Division attended the meeting. At the same time, if the election is not held after the 5-year term of the Zilla Parishad chairmen, the provision of municipal administrator appointment is being made in the amended law.
