Actress and producer Meher Afroz Shaon has been arrested.DMP's Detective Branch (DB) said that she was arrested from Dhanmondi on Thursday night (February 6).
DMP Additional Commissioner (DB) Rezaul Karim Mallik told Dhaka Post that Shaon has been arrested tonight from Dhanmondi area of the capital on charges of state conspiracy and he will be taken to the DB office and he will be questioned in the DB custody.
The official also said that he will be brought up in the court tomorrow in a specific case and remanded.
Meanwhile, this evening, it is said that the fire has been reported in the area adjacent to the Narundi Railrote station in Jamalpur Sadar Upazila of Jamalpur Sadar Upazila, which has recently been discussed and criticized in various circles, including the political position of Shaon and some comments.
