MCQ exam of 100 marks in one hour was 80.05. His merit score was 174.05. His admission test center was Comilla Medical College.

Shima Akhtar is a very simple family of Charjangalita village of Hajihat Unit in Kamalnagar Upazila of Laxmipur District. Ali Ahmed Patweri is a common farmer and mother Aesha Begum is a housewife.Shima is 5th among 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Shima Akhtar passed JSC examination in 2018 from Kalkini High School with GPA-4.43. In 2021, he passed SSC with GPA-4.89. Later, he got admission in Laxmipur Government College and got HSC Exam-4.83 in 2023. He achieved various merit and selective results in various merit selection tests including scholarship in his education.
