The much-anticipated Metrorail project Uttara-Agargaon line has completed almost 95 percent of the work, said MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) that the entire work of this line will be completed by December this year.
The managing director of DMTCL expressed this hope while talking to reporters at his office on Thursday (November 10).
‘The system integration is expected to be completed by November. The authorities will start the trial run,’ MAN Siddique said.’
The top official of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited said, ‘We will present the updated information to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister will direct the issue of when it will be opened to the public.’
