The body of the missing fisherman has been recovered from the Meghna Renu of Bhola Tajumuddin.
A team of Coast Guard and Faller Service recovered his body from Dalal Kandi of the upazila around 7 pm on Thursday (May 19).
Before this, on Wednesday (May 18) around 9 am, the sluice ghat area of the upazila was floating in the stream. He is missing in the garland.
The deceased is the son of Ajiulla of Ketamula village of Chandpur Union of Manju Upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tajumuddin Police Station SM Gitaul Haque confirmed this information and said that after receiving information from Meghna locals, the body of the missing fisherman was recovered from the Dadalal Kandi Pent of Meghna.
