The case of vandalism in the residence of the Chief Justice is awaiting the hearing of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's bail application.
His bail application will be heard in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Datra Judge Asaduzzaman at around 2 pm on Wednesday (November 22).
Earlier, the bail hearing was scheduled for November 20. But on that day, the state party filed a petition and later the court fixed the date of November 22.
It is to be noted that before the start of the BNP's general meeting on October 28, BNP leaders and activists broke down a tree branch and attacked the gate with sticks in their hands. The accused started pelting bricks inside the incident.
Then on the morning of October 29, the police arrested Mirza Fakhrul from his house in Gulshan and sent him to the court and the investigation officer applied for the case until the investigation was completed.
