The hearing on the bail application of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the party's standing committee member Mirza Abbas has started.
The hearing started on Sunday (January 8) in the four-judge appellate bench of the Appellate Division led by Chief Justice Hasan Fats Siddiqui.

Earlier on Wednesday (Janu 4) at noon, the two top leaders of the BNP were ordered to not file their bail in the jail until Sunday after hearing the application of the state party in the High Court's deota bail order.
In the order, the chamber court said that no bail order can be filed in the High Court's bail order. The full bench of the Appellate Division will be heard on Sunday. The next morning, the top two BNP leaders are being held by the High Court to block the bail of the High Court, the state appellates the appeal.
