Thinking about the voting rights of the people of the country Knowing that the government alliance is sitting in dialogue, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We want a fair election with everyone's participation.’

‘Let the people of the country vote in peace, choose the government of their mind; we are sitting in dialogue with that thought.’

Sheikh Hasina said this in the speech of the Awatami League Austami League Austim Samar Sabha on Saturday (November 03) afternoon at the Krishibid Institution Milna of the capital's Khamarbai.

The Prime Minister said, ‘Even after enduring so much insult, so much - all of us, we only think about the people of the country, let the people of the country be at peace, let the people of the country give their votes in peace. Let the people of the country choose the government according to their mind, but we have sat in the dialogue with that thought.’

‘Most of the same, they talked. But I didn't say a word. They talked for two hours in the alliance. Then we will talk on our behalf.’

He said, ‘I have said only the part that I have to say for the very last end - which one we can do, which is the Election Commission, which is the President....We have accepted many demands.’

Aomi League President Sheikh Hasina said, ‘The Oikya Front has written to us ahead of the election and the election. They want to meet us immediately. I welcomed you. I am very busy - you have seen that we have discussed in the public meeting.’

‘Meetings have already been held with Oikya Front and the United Front. They have tried to talk, we have tried to hold dialogues. We have discussed in a beautiful environment.’

He said, ‘We will do whatever the demands they have given, the demands they can meet, we have said.’

Criticizing the decision of the nation-Unite Oikya Front movement, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘When the discussion was going on, I saw that the program of the movement was scheduled. On the one hand, it will discuss the program of the movement, what kind of dialogue is it, what kind of dialogue, what kind of talk, it is not understandable to us.’

Sheikh Hasina, who has been the prime minister's power for 15 years in 1996 and the last two consecutive terms of 15 years, said, ‘The democratic trend that is going on today, we want the democratic continuity to continue. The country will be developed through democratic continuity.’

Election Commission has no complaints
Highlighting the current election commission formation process, Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We should also know that the Election Commission has been formed. But there was a search committee. The search committee was made up. BNP has also given the list of names in that search committee. We have also given the name of the search committee from each party.’

‘The search committee is one from our party, one from BNP, from other parties, they formed the Election Commission. The President has formed the Election Commission. So I don't think there is any room for any complaint against this Election Commission.’

The Prime Minister said, ‘The election commission has conducted every election with transparency. I have accepted the result that it has given. But if our Jagata had BNP, would they accept losing in the city corporation or other elections?’ They don't agree, they would have rigged the vote or caused an incident.’

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘After the coming of power to the Awami League government, we have held elections like 6,000 in the last 5 years. The local government has held elections, municipal elections have been held. City corporation elections have been held, there are about 15 by-elections. There are 6,000 elections that have been held in an election that is held like 6,000.’

‘We did not interfere there, because the people are the owners of the vote, the people will vote. The Election Commission is independent.’

The Judiciary is completely independent, no one has been arrested politically
The Prime Minister said they said they wanted the release of the royal prisoners. I said that they will give the list. We have not made the royal prisoners, we have not arrested anyone for political reasons.

He said, so if If we did, we could not arrest Khaleda Jita in 2015 when people killed them in the pursuit of 2015. So we have not arrested anyone for political reasons.

Referring to the sentence of Khaleda-Tareq, the same case against the former caretaker government, Sheikh Hasina said, "The cases against Khaleda Jita, Tarek Zita, these cases have been filed by their own people.

‘And the judiciary is completely independent. The independent judiciary is now serving the sentence. Tarek is serving the sentence. Tarek is also in the grip of the country. It is also proven that they are corrupt internationally, what we have to do there,’ said the Awami League president.

Awami League only knows how to give to the people
The Prime Minister said, today we are in a developed country I have been promoted today, Bangladesh is moving forward. Today, a political party of Bangladesh is a political party that is not only the way to advance Bangladesh, which is the only party that only knows how to give it to the people of Bangladesh.

‘They are possible because of the power of the Awami League. If the Awami League has power, this country will improve. Our goal is that the people of the village can be freed from poverty. Every village should be elevated in the city,’ he added.
