376 jailed in Coast Guard raid in 22 days in Bhola restraint

Bhola was arrested for 22 days from October 9 to October 30, 22 days in the main breeding season of hilsa, the members of the Coast Guard South Zone have arrested 376 fishermen in 645 operations. Zonal Commander Captain SM Moin Uddin gave this information at a press conference at the Coast Guard South Zone office located in Khetaghat area of Bhola.
He also said in the press conference that the campaign was conducted in different rivers of Bhola, Barisal, Barguna, Patukhali, Jhalkathi, Laxmipur, Notakhali and Feni districts.
District Fisheries Officer SM Azaharul Islam, District Administration Executive Magistrate Zahidul Islam, Coast Guard Lt. SA Sakil, Bhola Press Club President M Habibur Rahman, Elisha Naval Police Officer-in-Charge Sujan Chandra Pal and various TV, newspaper and online media journalists were present at the press conference.
