As part of the Bholata BNP central program, there was a clash with the police when they went to hold a protest rally against the increase in oil and gas prices and load shedding.
The clash started in Kalinath Rakht Bazar area in front of Bhola district BNP office at around 11 o'clock on Sunday.
The police also fired TR cells and rubber bullets and at least 20 people were injured in the clashes.
District BNP joint secretary Humatun Kabir Shopan said that an worker named Abdur Rahim was killed in police firing.
It is initially reported that the police have arrested 7 people in this incident.
