The northern part of the country may be rained down in the region, which may pass over the area, so the river ports in those areas are asked to show the number one warning signal.
The weather office has given such a forecast on Monday (June 6).
According to weatherman AKM Nazmul Haque, the extension of the low pressure extends from Bihar to Gangetic West Bengal. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and is in a weak to moderate state over North Bay of Bengal.
This situation may be due to Tuesday (June 7) morning in many places of Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions; in some places of Dhaka and Chittagong divisions and two places in Rajshahi, Khulna and Barisal divisions, there may be light to moderate rain/thunder with temporary gusty winds.
Also, moderate to heavy rains may occur in some parts of the northern part of the country, with the day temperatures may increase slightly and night temperatures will remain almost unchanged.
