Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit India from 5 to 8 September and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially welcome him at the airport. He said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's upcoming visit will be at the ‘state’ level and the relationship between the two countries will be strengthened during this visit.
During this visit, the Prime Minister will meet Indian President Dhrupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhanka. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India Arindam Bagchi said that Sheikh Hasina will hold bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Foreign Minister Subramanithaam Jashankar will have a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, while Sheikh Hasina may visit Ajmer.
He said that in recent years, the highest level of communication between the two countries has been in contact with the highest level of communication, the basis of Bangladesh-India relations is mutual trust, understanding, strong historical and cultural ties.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's upcoming visit will strengthen the multilateral relations between the two countries.
