BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda canceled the sentence and released her to order better treatment abroad. Pro-BNP lawyers have appealed to Abdul Hamid.
The application states, ‘You have the power to order the unconditional release of a former prime minister to take better treatment abroad. The power that the constitution has given you. The life of a former prime minister of the country is protected by Article 49 of the Constitution and cancel the sentence of the national leader Begum Khaleda and give her a chance to live abroad.’
