On the occasion of Jati Fish Week in Notakhali Begumganj, on July 26, a mobile court/revised operation was conducted to clear the illegal nets of illegal nets in Hasanhat of Sharifpur Union of Begumganj Upazila of Nokhali Canal.
No one was found at the scene, 15 chastena dutari, 2 vesal nets and 450 meter current nets that destroyed fish resources destroyed in the canal were seized.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shamchunnahar, Upazila Sinister Fisheries Officer Md. Alamgir Hossain, Upazila Secondary Assistant Education Officer Zahirul Islam, later the fakes were destroyed in front of the upazila parishad in the presence of journalists and common people.
