The Prime Minister said this while speaking at the ‘G20 Leaders Summit 2023’ held in Delhi, India on virtual platform from the evening Ganabhaban on Wednesday (November 22).
Sheikh Hasina said, the theme of the summit is ‘One World, One Family, One Future’ will inspire everyone to create a safe and beautiful world for our future generations.
He said that Europe's current war-related sanctions and counter-banking have caused and are being harmed globally and are being affected by humanitarian and economic losses.
The Prime Minister said, for more than a month, we are seeing thousands of women and women being brutally murdered and tragically massacred in Palestine, including more than 5,000 innocent children.
Sheikh Hasina also said that these heinous massacres have shocked the whole world and have made global misery more intense and slowed economic progress.
He said, I am calling on all the respected world leaders present at today's summit to raise awaz in a tone of ceasefire and send humanitarian relief to the victims of this war immediately.
The Prime Minister said that raising good relations with good neighbors and spreading globally could be a good start to this aim, with the aim of this aimed at the excellent relations between Bangladesh and neighboring India which has been recognized as a ‘role model of neighbor diplomacy’.
Neighbors can certainly solve all the problems through friendly dialogue, we have proved it through our sea border and land border settlement, he said.
Mentioning that Bangladesh is committed to a peaceful and prosperous world, Sheikh Hasina said, "I am happy that our sincere discussion on the G20 platform of the last year, especially this summit of leaders, has instilled purpose and sense of virtue among us.
The Prime Minister also said that it is the duty of everyone to ensure the health of all of our world and family.
He said, I want your sincere support in the repatriation of the citizen of Mitanmar (Rohingya) who was forcibly displaced more than 1 millitan in Mitanmar from Bangladesh.
He strongly believes that the promises made at the G20 summit will be fruitful and that it will be transformed into a realistic step.
Sheikh Hasina sincerely congratulated Narendra Modi and India for the successful management of the G20 Presidency.
The Prime Minister said that the announcement of the G20 leaders' Summit in New Delhi last September has been organized to take the lead of the G20 leaders' summit, and the announcement of the G20-Nat Delhi leaders reflects the real concerns and problems of Global South.
